The bSecure Remote Access VPN (Virtual Private Network) service, using the Palo Alto Networks’ GlobalProtect software, allows CalNet ID–authenticated users to securely access the UC Berkeley network from outside of campus as if they were on campus and encrypts the information sent through the network.

Installs a CalNetPKI Root Certificate in a system location that is accessible to programs such as Apple's Safari Web browser.
|Cisco VPN - Deprecated||
Note: The Cisco VPN client has been replaced with the bSecure Remote Access VPN client (refer to listing above). Currently installed Cisco clients will continue to work through September 30, 2019. It is highly recommended that current installs of the Cisco Anyconnect VPN client be removed and the bSecure VPN client installed at the earliest opportunity to avoid a lapse in service.
