UC Berkley Central IT provides VMware Fusion and Workstation software licenses for teaching, research, and gaining hands-on experience with virtualization products. It cannot be used for campus infrastructure, non-academic purposes or any for-profit activity.

*If you previously claimed a VMware license from the legacy D2L Brightspace, you will not be able to use it after it expires. Broadcom/VMware ended the Academic License program on August 15th 2024. *
